On December 19, 2023, at Sokhumi State University, the finals of the Erasmus+ institutional cooperation project "Opening of psychological counseling centers for students in higher educational institutions of Georgia" and the program of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia "Promotion of higher educational institutions" of the sub-program "Support of psychological and social service platform for students" were held. A conference where the achieved results were summarized.

Mr. Zurab Khonelidze - rector of Sukhumi State University, professor, president of the Georgian Academy of Education Sciences opened the conference and welcomed the audience. The work of the conference was led by the head of the Department of International Relations and Intercultural Relations of SSU, project coordinator, professor Indira Dzagania.

The following spoke: Mrs. Nino Tsereteli - Head of the Higher Education and Science Development Department of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia; Mrs. Nunu Mickevichi – Executive Director of the International Center for Education; Mrs. Guguli Maghradze - professor, chairman of the Association of Psychological Counseling Centers of Georgian Universities created within the project; Mrs. Irena Kudlinska – local coordinator of E-PSY at Bydgoszcz University of Economics (Poland) and vice-rector of the same university, Professor Agnieszka Walczak-Beszczynska; Mrs. Daniela Popa – local coordinator of E-PSY at Transylvania University (Romania); Mr. Roberto Righi – Head of E-PSY partner organization - Center for Human Skills, Strategy and Capacity Building (Italy); Mrs. Magda Maghradze – Chancellor of Kutaisi International University; Mr. Ramaz Sakvarelidze – psychologist and political scientist. Mrs. Maia Shukhoshvili, head of the higher education division of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, participated in the conference.

Erasmus+ institutional cooperation project "Opening psychological counseling centers for students in higher educational institutions of Georgia" and the program of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia "Promotion of higher educational institutions" sub-program "Support of the psychological and social service platform of students" results were summarized and introduced to the public by the project coordinator Indira Dzagania.

The local coordinators, professors of the Georgian universities involved in the project: Tamar Gagoshidze, Marina Aroshidze, Nino Korinteli, Guranda Modebadze, Davit Natroshvili, Giorgi Datuashvili, Natia Tsipuria, Zurab Zurabashvili gave speeches. At the conference, in unison, the work done within the projects was assessed as successful and the importance of the obtained results was noted.
