Informational meeting within the framework of E-PSY

On October 26, 27 and 28 of this year, Samtskhe-Javakheti State University participates in the WSG information meeting, which is held for educational purposes within the framework of the Erasmus+ (CBHE) institutional development project E-PSY "Opening psychological counseling centers for students in higher educational institutions of Georgia". The University will be represented at the mentioned meetings by: Project Manager and Senior Specialist of International Relations Guranda Modebadze, Researcher - Ketevan Narimanishvili and Senior Specialist of Quality Assurance Service - Tea Tatenashvili.

The information meeting was opened by the coordinator of the consortium - Mrs. Indira Dzagania, professor of Sokhumi State University, the project coordinator of the University of Economics in Bydgoszcz, Irina Kudlinska, Chancellor Philip Sikora, welcomed the participants, and the presentation was led by Magdalena Bergman and Eva Kaniewska. The first day was dedicated to the following issues: sharing experiences and best practices regarding psychological and pedagogical counseling services at the University of Bydgoszcz; forms of psychological support; Various psychological diagnosis and counseling mechanisms and procedures for students, academic staff and other beneficiaries.

On October 27, the second day of the information meeting, Robert Laucks gave a presentation to the audience. During the presentation, he shared video and photo material with the partners about the infrastructural capabilities, psychology and cognitive science laboratory in their university.

The third presentation was presented by Jacek Rudniewski - means of finding and attracting beneficiaries.

October 28 The third day of the information meeting was a kind of summary. The speaker, Robert Laucks, gave a presentation on the organization and funding forms, and also talked about other support services.

At the end of the meeting, the services available to students with disabilities who have mental or psychological problems were discussed. The meetings ended in an interesting, question-and-answer mode.
