On July 9-11, 2024, the Vienna University of Economics and Business (Austria) hosted an international conference on "Reforming Higher Education: Inclusion, Innovation and Resilience in a Complex Post-Pandemic Era". The coordinator of the sub-program, professor Indira Dzagania, participated in it, along with representatives of various European higher education institutions, within the framework of the sub-program "Support of the psychological and social service platform of students" of the program "Promotion of higher educational institutions" of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia. Georgia was represented at the conference by the Acting Head of the Higher Education and Science Development Department of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth, Mrs. Maia Shukhoshvili, project participant psychologist Natela Tchotchua and TSU professor Iago Kachkachishvili.
Prof. Indira Dzagania and Natela Tchotchua gave a presentation on the results of research conducted within the framework of the sub-program and the activities of psychological counseling centers in universities, which aroused great interest.
Within the framework of the visit, Prof. Indira Dzagania met with the representative of the European Commission, Mrs. Mia Wallin Hansen, and the Vice-Rector of the Vienna University of Economics and Business, Prof. Harald Badinger. Discussions at the meetings touched upon future cooperation, joint projects, including within the framework of Erasmus+ programs.
